Profiles of graduate students correspond with the needs of professional praxis. Graduate students can use their abilities and knowledge in the field of public or state administration, non-governmental institutions, business environment, administration and institutions that are specialized on human management, as an ethical consultant in institutes and centres of applied ethics. As specialists in the particular area, they will be able to implement ethical programs, create ethical infrastructure, as well as they will be able to provide professional work environment and help to form right organizational culture. Members of the department have established a section for applied ethics, which mission is to spread its pedagogical activities to counseling, as well as to participate in co-ordination of specific tasks, with emphasis on applied ethics. Our department aims to begin new tradition - Summer school of applied ethics in Slovakia. We will co-operate on this project with our partners from Germany and Poland. Students, who will actively participate and will successfully graduate will get a certificate - Ethics consultant. Department of Ethics

Forschunszentrom Karlsruhe (SRN), Forschungsinstitut fűr Angewandte
Ethik Universität Salzburg (Austria), Institute of Philosophy at Sliezska
University (Katowice, Poland), Higher School of Management and Social
Sciences (Tychy, Poland), with various specialists from Czech Republic,
with Philosophical Institute (Slovak Academy of Science) SAV, with academics
from Slovakia, as well as with prestigious institutions form the area
of managerial praxis in the region of central Slovakia. Members of the Department
